Almost a lot of people are struggling with the idea of weight loss. There are men and women who constantly exercise and follow a strict diet plan, but end up not losing any weight at all.

A simple search in the internet will give you a lot of weight loss tips that can either be ineffective or difficult to accomplish.

If you are tired of making use of weight loss tips that do not work, here are two essential tips that are guaranteed to make you lose weight in a matter of weeks.

1. Never Skip Breakfast

A lot of people think that skipping meals can actually make them skinnier. Most weight loss tips tell you to skip dinner, but never miss taking breakfast.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, simply because it provides you with the energy you need to do different tasks.

If you skip breakfast, the tendency is for you to eat a lot later in the day. If you eat too much in the evening, the body has less time to burn the fats since it’s already tired from too much work. In order to avoid this to happen, you must eat in a proper timing not skipping some important meals.

2. More Water Please

Water does not only hydrate your body, it also gives you a chance to detoxify your inner systems from harmful chemicals and toxins. Toxins distract your body from burning fats.

Your body tends to be sluggish and you are unable to discard the unwanted fats in your arms and legs. Drinking lots of water will help cleanse your body and keep it in good shape and healty good looking body.

Be healthy, happy, and active!

Why eat healthy foods?

Healthy foods give you energy to live, learn, and be active. They help you to:
• Grow at a healthy rate and stay active.
• Keep your blood glucose (GLOO-kos), also called blood sugar, in balance—not too high and not too low.
• Lose weight slowly, if needed, under your doctor’s care.

How does food affect my body?

Food is the fuel that our bodies use for energy. The three main sources of fuel are carbohydrates (CAR-boh-HY-drates), protein, and fat. The body changes these fuels into glucose for energy or stores them as fat. Eating a balance of foods that contain carbohydrates (carbs for short), protein, and fat every day will help keep your blood glucose close to normal. It may also keep your weight where you and your doctor want it to be.

Do teens with diabetes need to eat special foods?

No, they do not. Meals that are healthy for teens with diabetes are great for everyone—you, your family, and your
friends.

Protein helps build strong muscles and bones. Foods with protein do not make blood glucose go up like carbs do. Having protein in your meal can help you feel less hungry.
Foods that are a good source of protein include:
• Meat and poultry without skin or extra fat.
• Fish, low-fat cheese, and eggs.
• Natural peanut butter and soy products like tofu.

Carbs are a great source of energy for our bodies. Many foods contain carbs. Some are better for you than others. If you eat too many carbs at one time, your blood glucose may get too high. Learn to eat the right amount at meals and snack times to keep your blood glucose in balance.
Choose carbs that have lots of fiber:
• Whole grain foods—whole wheat bread and crackers, oatmeal, brown rice, and cereals.
• Lentils and dried peas or beans such as kidney, black, white, split, or black-eyed. These foods are also a good source of protein.
• Fresh fruits and vegetables from every color of the rainbow—red, orange, yellow, white, green, blue, and purple.
• Other good sources of carbs include non- or low-fat dairy foods, soy milk, pasta, potatoes, corn, squash, and yams.
Choose these carbs less often:
• white bread • white rice • sweetened fruit drinks • regular soda • sweets and desserts

Fats are a good source of fuel for the body and help you grow. Fat does not make blood glucose go up but too much fat can make you gain weight. Some fats are better for you than others.
Choose the types of fats that keep your heart healthy:
• Small portions of low-fat salad dressing, mayonnaise, and margarine.
• Small amounts of nuts, olives, and olive oil.
• A slice of avocado.
Choose these high fat foods less often. They are not healthy for your heart:
• Butter, stick margarine, and regular mayonnaise.
• Fried foods like potato chips and french fries.
• Meats with fat on them, bacon, deli meats, and hot dogs.
• Cakes, cookies, pies, and other desserts.

It’s no surprise to most health conscious individuals that the hardest part of consistently eating well isn’t making a
healthy meal plan – it’s making a healthy meal plan and making sure to choose good foods, day in and day out. Sometimes both life and food suppliers seem to collaborate to wreak havoc on our healthy eating attempts.

But restaurants are beginning to make it easier on us.

While in the past, eating out was the low-protein, high carb scourge of the healthy eater’s existence, nowadays, we workin’ out types can get meals that we can afford to eat and afford to pay for when the check comes.

Here’s a strategy for making it easy on you. Do a search of the area around your home and around your workplace. In each locale, pick 4 restaurants that prepare meals in a way that conforms to your nutritional plan. Two of the restaurants should be fast food places (that’s right, even at McDonalds, Wendy’s, and BK can you do reasonably well nowadays), one should be a medium-priced restaurant (TGI Fridays or Kelsey’s will do nicely here as TGI Friday’s even offers Atkins-friendly meals), and the last should be a higher priced restaurant for finer dining occasions.

(Of course, you’ll have to do a little research on your potential eateries by collecting hard copies of their menus or by visiting their web sites )

Once armed with 4 places that can cook for you when you’re on the go (and can call in your order) or need to have a sit-down lunch or dinner, your excuses for not eating well will slip away. Having a great meal plan is important. Having the right meals available when it’s time to eat is paramount!
